My wife and I have stayed at the Marphe hotel on many occasions. We always choose to stay in the suites and find them very comfortable and homely. The swimming pool and the gardens are lovely and well designed, the staff are more than freindly and always aim to please. We would thoroughly recommend it here.

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a fantastic holiday in unspoilt and off the beaten track, Datca. We hunted on the internet for reasonably priced accommodation and came across the Marphe apartments, suites and villas. We couldn't have been happier. In the run up to our holiday, we had plenty of email liaison with Ahmet, the son of the owner of the apartments. Ahmet responded within 24 hours to all of my enquiries - from how do we get taxis from the airport, to hiring a private boat for a trip, to organising for a television to be in our room for my Olympic fanatic boyfriend! We couldn't have come across a more obliging host..The apartments are simple and clean. There is a fantastic pool and a beautiful garden area too. It's a great family place to stay but even in prime summer holiday slot, it was equally as good for a romantic trip away for a couple. The snack bar and restaurant are also good although Datca itself is full of nice restaurants which are worth exploring. Overall, the Marphe hotel comes very highly recommended and we will certainly consider a return.

Merhaba Emrah & staff at Marphe,

Greetings from Newbury!

We send our heartfelt thanks to you all for making our holiday so wonderful. You looked after us as honoured guests but, at the same time, as old friends. We wanted for nothing.
We had hoped to see you all before we left but in the end we discovered our taxi was waiting and had to rush off. We will hope to see you again one day.

Best Wishes

Malcolm & Mary Dean

The fantastic gardens at Marphe are what hit you as you first walk in - all lovingly tended to and set around a fab pool and the Bougainvilla is the best I have ever seen. The staff are really friendly and natural and easy going, although a bit of Turkish might come in handy sometimes. The rooms were tastefully decorated with kilims and interesting Turkish artefacts. We liked the apartment/hotel approach as we could take breakfast if we wanted and if we didn't want to go down town for dinner we had the option of dinner around the pool. A fridge in the room meant we could get a few basics at the nearby supermarket. We will definitely go back as this was a chance to see real Turkey without the masses of tourists like in places like Marmaris or Bodrum which is why we chose Datca in the first place. As for Marphe - it was just lovely classic Turkish hospitality at its best.

We had a wonderful time in Datca and in Turkey overall

Marphe Resort was a real highlight of our trip. We felt very comfortable and found everything we needed. The people at the resort were helpful and friendly and the facilities first rate. I have attached a couple of pictures for you - in case you're interested, I took quite a lot of the resort. Let me know.

Best regards,
Nicole

This was probably the best place we stayed at during a four week holiday in Turkey with eleven different hotels in total. Is is a small cluster of guestrooms with a nice pool and a large shady garden area. It was all quite well thought-through and beautifully arranged. Lots of flowers. We had one of the suites, their 'smallest' offering, which came with two good size rooms, one the bedroom, the other a lounge, separated by a kitchenette (with fridge, sink, kettle, and plenty of cutlery and crockery). It was sparsely, but tastefully furnished. The lounge could have benefitted from a TV. Free wireless reached into the lounge, but not the rear bedroom, most likely due to the thick walls which left the place pleasantly cool. The place was very quiet both at day and night time.
