Almond Festival takes place during July. There is another festival about the famous writer Can Yücel who lived several years in old Datca and is called Can Festival taking place every August. Every September Datça and Simi municipalities organize the Peace Festival where swimmers of both countries meet each other in the middle of the sea .

The traditional Kite Festival starts during April and May in Resadiye to bring lots of colors to the sky. Friendship Walk from the Aegean to the Mediterranean takes place during the second week of April, where hundreds of visitors are walking and celebrating friendship and peace. Bull fights that take place each year during October are a great attraction for local people and visitors as well.
